Football Recap: Glen Burnie Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Glen Burnie and Wise squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Glen Burnie had to settle for second. They lost 46-20 to the Pumas.

It was another big night for Kameron Parker, who rushed for 207 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 46 receiving yards for Wise. Those 207 rushing yards gave Parker a new career-high. Wise also got help from Sergio Torrico, who showed off his sure hands for 89 receiving yards.

Glen Burnie's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Wise, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Glen Burnie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wise, they will challenge Churchill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Pumas 8.5, the Bulldogs 10.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
