Football Recap: St. Francis Comes Up Short

St. Francis was the 21-7 winner over Monticello when they last played one another back in September of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Fighting Saints received a blow on Friday as they fell 30-15 to the Magic. The Fighting Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Monticello, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Francis will welcome Sartell-St. Stephen at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Monticello, they will be playing at home against Buffalo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
