Hutchinson (Minn.) snapped
Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, Minn.)'s 7-game winning streak, with a 28-7 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Tigers led 21-0 at the half.
Hutchinson saw its 21-point halftime lead fall to 14 entering the fourth.
With the win HHS extended its winning streak to 11 games. The Tigers defeated the Chargers 42-6 last week.
Jake Stuedemann made a difference for the Panthers. The junior halfback ran for one touchdown.
Glencoe-Silver Lake's lone touchdown came on a 5-yard run by Stuedemann in the third quarter.
Hutchinson went into the matchup giving up only 8.0 points per game.
HHS also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 20-16.
The Tigers (11-0) faces off against Glencoe-Silver Lake in a playoff game their next time out. The Panthers enter the contest having posted a 8-1.
