Recap: Issaquah Eagles vs. Eastlake Wolves
The Issaquah Eagles lost against the Eastlake Wolves back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Issaquah took a 39-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eastlake. Issaquah has struggled against Eastlake recently, as their match on Wednesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Eastlake's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tatum Wood led the charge by scoring 20 points along with six rebounds and six blocks. Wood has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Brooke Mccartney was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Issaquah has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Eastlake, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.
Issaquah will be playing at home against Kentwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eastlake, they will head out on the road to face off against Mount Si at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Mount Si is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
