Chandler strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Choctaw Yellowjackets. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 9-1 win the Yellowjackets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2023.

Chandler's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Blaklei Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Chandler was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .474. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in five consecutive contests.

Chandler's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Choctaw, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2.

Chandler didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-2 loss against Moore on the 22nd. As for Choctaw, they will face off against Lawton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
