Baseball Recap: Chestatee Comes Up Short

After flying high against West Hall on Wednesday, Chestatee came back down to earth. The War Eagles fell just short of the East Hall Vikings by a score of 8-7 on Friday. The War Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.

Chestatee now has a losing record of 1-2. As for East Hall, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Chestatee beat the Vikings by a score of 12-2 on Monday.
