Soccer Recap: Woodlawn Comes Up Short

After soaring to seven goals the game before, Woodlawn was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against the Cresset Christian Academy Eagles, falling 10-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Woodlawn were already down 7-1.

Woodlawn's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Cresset Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodlawn will welcome Kingdom Leadership Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodlawn will be up against Kingdom Leadership Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.91 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Cresset Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Gate City at 4:30 p.m.
