Valley View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Holliday Eagles, falling 58-0. The shutout was out of character for Valley View seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Jake Prescher threw for 123 yards on ten of 18 attempts. Johnny Nelson was his top target, picking up 104 receiving yards.

Hunter Jones continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Holliday, throwing for 287 yards and six touchdowns while completing 82.4% of his passes.

Valley View's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Holliday, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Valley View will square off against Millsap at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Millsap is coming into the matchup with three straight losses on the road, meaning Valley View will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Holliday, they will take on City View at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. City View will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Holliday surely won't give up without a fight.
