There's no place like home for Moshannon Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against the Mount Union Trojans by a score of 46-35 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Black Knights/Damsels: when they faced off against the Trojans back in December of 2024, they had to take a 39-31 defeat.

Loss or not, Mount Union got some senior leadership from Cailyn Skopic and Maddie Dimoff. Skopic posted 14 points along with seven steals and five assists, while Dimoff went 6 for 13 to rack up 13 points in addition to six boards and four steals. Skopic is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kymber Osborne, who put up six points.

Moshannon Valley's record is now 6-14. As for Mount Union, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Coming up, Moshannon Valley will take on Cambria Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mount Union, they will square off against Huntingdon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
