Baseball Recap: Starr's Mill Comes Up Short

Starr's Mill entered their game against Northside on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Starr's Mill fell 8-3 to Northside. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Starr's Mill's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 13-5. As for Northside, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4.

While Starr's Mill had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
