Baseball Recap: Thomson Comes Up Short

Westside hit Thomson with a five-run first inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 11-10. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 10-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

This is the second loss in a row for Thomson and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Westside, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thomson will challenge Lakeside at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Westside, they will take on Laney at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
