Recap: Kennedy Eagles vs. Ygnacio Valley Wolves
The Kennedy Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Ygnacio Valley on the road and fell 42-9. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Ygnacio Valley was led to victory by Kasia Brooks and Sa'rye Starks. Brooks scored 16 points, while Starks scored 18 points along with 4 steals. The contest was Starks' third in a row with at least ten points. K'Si Brooks was another key contributor, scoring 2 points along with 9 assists and 5 rebounds.
Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ygnacio Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Kennedy will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Esparto at 6:30 p.m. on November 30th. As for Ygnacio Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Berkeley at 2:00 p.m. on December 2nd.
