Soccer Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity managed to keep up with Holy Name until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Trojans came up short against the Green Wave, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Trinity of the 11-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2019.

Trinity has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8-1 record this season. As for Holy Name, the victory snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 4-10-3 record.

Looking ahead, Trinity will head out on the road to face off against Chagrin Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Trinity's defense better be ready for this one: Chagrin Falls have averaged an impressive 4.5 goals per game this season. As for Holy Name, they will welcome Garfield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
