After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Baconton Charter, Pelham was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Pataula Charter Academy Panthers a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won 13 matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Pelham is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Pataula Charter Academy, they dropped their record down to 14-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Pelham will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
