Baseball Recap: Kennesaw Mountain Takes a Loss

Kennesaw Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the South Paulding Spartans.

Kennesaw Mountain saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samik Raina, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Kennesaw Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for South Paulding, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

While Kennesaw Mountain had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Monday.
