Volleyball Recap: Lakewood Presbyterian Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

Lakewood Presbyterian won the last time they faced Lakeland Christian Academy, and Kinson Zoeh did her part to make sure it happened again. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Lions 3-2 for which the team can thank Zoeh, who had 13 kills. She is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (108-105) Lakewood Presbyterian actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 19-25, 21-25, 15-13.

The win made it two in a row for Lakewood Presbyterian and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Lakeland Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakewood Presbyterian will take on Harvest Christian in a tournament on Friday. As for Lakeland Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Faith Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
