Softball Recap: Denison-Schleswig Takes a Loss

Denison-Schleswig was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 8-4 to the Pocahontas Indians. The Monarchs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in June of 2019.

Denison-Schleswig's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Pocahontas, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Denison-Schleswig has already played their next game (against Underwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pocahontas also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Sergeant Bluff-Luton.
