Basketball Recap: Lehigh Valley Academy Triumphs

It was a proper cat-fight when Lehigh Valley Academy faced off against Lincoln Leadership Academy on Tuesday. The Lehigh Valley Academy Jaguars walked away with a 43-36 victory over the Lincoln Leadership Academy Lions. This was a revenge game for the Jaguars: when they faced off against the Lions two weeks ago, they had to take a 51-20 loss.

Lincoln Leadership Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Bria Kringe, who posted 19 points and four steals. The match was Kringe's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Arielle Taylor, who earned 11 points in addition to five assists and five steals.

Lehigh Valley Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Lincoln Leadership Academy, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-3.

Lehigh Valley Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-34 loss against Mahanoy Area on the 18th. Lincoln Leadership Academy has also already played their next contest (against Notre Dame), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
