Harris County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Columbus Blue Devils. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Devils, too.

JT Pirkle tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over 5.1 innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Harris County's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Daejeon Elder, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harris County will hit the road for the first time this season to take on LaGrange at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Columbus, they will face off against Newnan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
