Volleyball Recap: The New Community School Takes a Loss

The New Community School lost against Grove Christian School back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sabers came up short against the Falcons, falling 3-0.

While The New Community School was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Grove Christian School's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10, 25-13.

The New Community School's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Grove Christian School, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

The New Community School will head out on the road to challenge Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Grove Christian School, they will be playing at home against Stuart Hall at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
