Meanwhile, Northern Potter played a tough match on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 51-26 to Coudersport. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-11.

Northern Potter's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Wellsboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.
