While Athens Christian's win against Loganville Christian Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Lions on Thursday.

Their defense stepped up to hand Lakeview Academy a 6-0 shutout on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Bethlehem Christian Academy considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Their offense was hitting Lakeview Academy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Matthew Moffatt led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Athens Christian's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five matches. As for Bethlehem Christian Academy, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6-1.
