Volleyball Recap: Clemens Comes Up Short

Clemens's tournament run continued when they took on Lake Creek on Saturday. The Buffaloes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Buffaloes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Claire Untereiner paced Clemens' offense, picking up four kills. Untereiner got some help from Emily Corkill and her five assists. McKenna Brumgard controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Clemens' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lake Creek, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Clemens didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Magnolia West on the 16th. As for Lake Creek, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Prosper on the 16th.
