Basketball Recap: Dobson Comes Up Short

Dobson's tournament run continued when they took on Catalina Foothills on Saturday. The Mustangs fell 50-45 to the Falcons.

Catalina Foothills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sophia Dodd led the charge by putting up eight points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Victoria Perman, who posted ten points and six rebounds.

Dobson's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Catalina Foothills, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-6.

Dobson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 68-10 victory against San Luis on the 8th. As for Catalina Foothills, they have also already played their next contest, a 74-63 win against Pueblo on the 8th.
