North Catholic had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They ended the year with a bang, routing the Norwin Knights 71-49. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 61-46 win the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.

North Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Norwin, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Catholic will face off against Pine-Richland at 2:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Norwin and Shaler Area will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
