            Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Hayfork). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Maxwell Panthers 62-21. The  contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  31-8.

Hayfork found their leader in freshman  Kaelynn Bayley, who  dropped  a double-double on 22 points and ten  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most  points  Bayley has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Lydia Yarbrough, who  posted six points and nine  steals.
 Hayfork  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 14  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 11  offensive boards in seven consecutive  games.
 Despite the  defeat, Maxwell saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Karina Perez  earned nine  points.
Hayfork is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record  this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 53.9 points per game. As for Maxwell, their loss was  their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-11.
 Hayfork wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  52-39  win against Tulelake on the 10th. As for Maxwell, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  42-20  defeat against Los Molinos on the 10th.
