If Blue Valley West was riding high fresh off their 31-7 takedown of Blue Valley North last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jaguars took a 27-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Valley Northwest Huskies on Friday. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Although Blue Valley West took the loss, they still got scores from Lawson McGraw and Trent Schneider.

LJ Bowens was his usual excellent self, rushing for 147 yards and two scores while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also catching one TD for Blue Valley Northwest. With that strong performance, Bowens is now averaging an impressive 106 rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was Aidan Ihm, who threw for 130 yards and one touchdown.

Blue Valley West's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Blue Valley Northwest, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
