4A Region 9 Top Player Performances of the Week

Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Wednesday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Tytan Mason Goes Supernova in Desert Hills Win

Starting off the list is Desert Hills's Tytan Mason, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mason rushed for 188 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 78 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Mason is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

Mason must have Cedar's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Mason saw the Reds), he rushed for 276 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry.
