Cook entered their tilt with Crisp County on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over the Cougars. Considering the Hornets have won 12 matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Cook's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Crisp County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Looking ahead, Cook will head out on the road to challenge Ware County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets are facing the Gators at the right time seeing as the Gators are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Crisp County, they will welcome Tattnall County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.7 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
