Softball Recap: First Presbyterian Day Triumphs

On Saturday First Presbyterian Day's undefeated season almost came to an end. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Windsor Academy Knights.

First Presbyterian Day let Addison Arnold and Ava Spillers run wild. Arnold went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Spillers went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. Arnold is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

First Presbyterian Day's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Windsor Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

First Presbyterian Day didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-0 victory against John Milledge Academy on the 26th. As for Windsor Academy, they will square off against Crisp Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
