Baseball Recap: Round Lake Falls Short of Barrington in the Playoffs

Round Lake and Barrington squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Round Lake had to settle for second. They lost 11-1 to the Fillies/Broncos. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Round Lake saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Dittmer, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Round Lake's loss dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Barrington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-11-1.

As of now, neither Round Lake nor the Fillies/Broncos have any future games scheduled.
