Basketball Recap: Cypress Comes Up Short

Cypress was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 52-39 to the Sonora Raiders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Centurions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-37 back in January.

Cypress' record now sits at 10-13. As for Sonora, their win bumped their record up to 15-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cypress will face off against Villa Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Villa Park will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Cypress surely won't give up without a fight. Sonora has already played their next game (against Yorba Linda), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
