Klein Collins is a perfect 10-0 against Klein Forest since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Klein Collins knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Klein Forest likes a good challenge.
Klein Collins had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 39-point drubbing they dealt Klein Cain on Thursday. The Tigers took their game with ease, bagging a 49-10 victory over the Hurricanes. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Klein Collins can attribute much of their success to Da'Marcus Jones, who rushed for 129 yards and one touchdown, and Braydon Schoggin, who rushed for 50 yards and one TD. Those 129 rushing yards gave Jones a new career-high. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Alex Kaiser, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Klein Collins was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 338 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 203 rushing yards in five consecutive contests.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Kaiser, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Klein Forest took a blow against Klein Cain last Friday, falling 56-22. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 428th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 147th).
Klein Collins will need to focus on slowing down James Robinson, one of several Klein Forest players who made an impact when they last played. He rushed for 104 yards on only 11 carries, and also threw for 135 yards and one TD. Another player making a difference was Dejaune Etheridge, who rushed for 84 yards and a pair of scores.
Klein Collins pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Klein Forest, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
We should be in store for an exciting game as Klein Collins and Klein Forest have no problem gaining yardage. The Tigers have been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 421.1 total yards per game. However, it's not like Klein Forest struggles in that department as they've been averaging 384.4 total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.
Klein Collins strolled past Klein Forest in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a score of 28-14. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
