Softball Recap: Callaway Cavaliers vs. Upson-Lee Knights

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, Callaway brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They never let the Upson-Lee Knights get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Monday. The Cavaliers were shut out 8-0 the last time they took on the Knights, so the Cavaliers were just returning the favor.

Lilah Monteith made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. Monteith was also big at the plate, earning three RBI and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Ryleigh Seymour was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those hits marked the first that she has got this season.
