It was a good run, but Villa Maria Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 58-32 to the Archbishop Wood Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Hurricanes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while the Vikings are ranked seventh).

Villa Maria Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Archbishop Wood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-7.

As of now, neither Villa Maria Academy nor Archbishop Wood have any future games scheduled.
