Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Conquerors vs. Blair County Christian Bobcats
The Calvary Christian Academy Conquerors won the last time they faced the Blair County Christian Bobcats, and things went their way on Thursday too. Calvary Christian Academy managed a 47-41 win over Blair County Christian. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Calvary Christian Academy.
Macayla Mills was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Calvary Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Anderson, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Despite the loss, Blair County Christian still got an impressive performance from Gabi Dull, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dull has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jena Kane, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Calvary Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Blair County Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
Calvary Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Clearfield Alliance Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blair County Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Calvary Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
