Soccer Recap: Capital Victorious + How To Watch

It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Capital ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Hope Christian Huskies. Capital's winning goal came courtesy of Julian Montes.

Capital has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those two matchups. As for Hope Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Capital will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Goddard at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Hope Christian, they will take on Cottonwood Classical Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
