North Atlanta took a five-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Alpharetta, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Raiders on Tuesday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering North Atlanta's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 13th, while Alpharetta are ranked 125th).

North Atlanta is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those eight contests. As for Alpharetta, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8.
