Basketball Recap: Harpeth Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Harpeth was the 51-48 winner over Houston County when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell 54-48 to the Fighting Irish on Thursday.

Houston County found their leader in sophomore Ryan Carter, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten boards. Carter is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last 16 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Ryder Forrester, who shot 46% from the field en route to 15 points.

Harpeth's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Houston County, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Harpeth will challenge Waverly Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Houston County, they will face off against Stewart County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
