Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norco). Their defense stepped up to hand the Ontario Jaguars a 6-0 shutout on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won five contests by four goals or more so far this season.

They hit Ontario with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Scarlett Rivera (3), Sydney Lambert, Audrina Ponce, and Lillianna Hutchings.

The win made it two in a row for Norco and bumps their season record up to 9-2. As for Ontario, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norco will welcome Centennial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Centennial's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Ontario, they will be playing at home against Don Lugo at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
