Football Recap: Crest Comes Up Short

Crest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waverly Bulldogs. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Crest's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Waverly, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5.

As of now, neither Crest nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
