Softball Recap: Vinita Takes a Loss

Vinita's last matchup with Adair could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Monday. The Hornets came up short against the Warriors, falling 14-4. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tenley Sutton was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Vinita's loss dropped their record down to 15-22. As for Adair, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-10 record this season.

Vinita has already played their next matchup (against Commerce), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Adair, they will square off against Westville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
