Basketball Game Preview: Engadine Eagles vs. Rudyard Bulldogs

After both having extra time off, the Engadine Eagles and the Rudyard Bulldogs will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Engadine is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brimley last Friday. The Eagles have struggled against the Bays recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Rudyard's good fortune finally ran out last Friday. They took a 47-33 bruising from Cedarville. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 299th, while the Trojans are ranked 117th).

Rudyard now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Engadine, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
