Rancho Cucamonga had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Vista Murrieta Broncos 58-35. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Vista Murrieta's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alana Burnett, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Shajade Banks, who posted eight points and four steals.

Rancho Cucamonga's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Vista Murrieta, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
