Basketball Recap: Apple Valley Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Apple Valley kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the El Rancho Dons. If the Sun Devils were looking for revenge after losing 38-33 to the Dons when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Apple Valley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Silverado at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for El Rancho, they will take on Sierra Vista at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
