Basketball Recap: Bishop McDevitt Comes Up Short

If Bishop McDevitt was feeling good fresh off their 52-31 takedown of Lebanon on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crusaders fell 37-28 to the Northern Lebanon Vikings on Saturday. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Bishop McDevitt dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Northern Lebanon, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Bishop McDevitt and Northern Lebanon will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Crusaders will take on rival Steelton-Highspire at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northern Lebanon is set to square off against their familiar foe Manheim Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
