Softball Recap: Dutchtown Extends Winning Streak to Three

Dutchtown had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Banneker Trojans as they made off with a 23-10 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won five matchups by more than 11 runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win got Dutchtown back to even at 6-6. As for Banneker, their defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Dutchtown will welcome Carver at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.33 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Banneker, they will take on McIntosh at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
