Soccer Recap: Emerald Comes Up Short

Emerald was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to the California Grizzlies.

Emerald's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for California, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Emerald will take on Deer Valley in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Emerald's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for California, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Acalanes at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
