Baseball Recap: Natick Falls Short Against Ranked Walpole

Natick faced Walpole in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Redhawks fell just short of the Timberwolves by a score of 3-2. The Redhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Timberwolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Natick's defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-4-1. As for Walpole, their record now sits at 15-5.

Looking ahead, Natick will host Wellesley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Redhawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Walpole, they will head out to take on Needham at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
