Soccer Recap: West Valley Wins Going Away Against Anderson

After failing to score in their last game, West Valley made sure to put some goals up on the board against Anderson on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over the Anderson Cubs. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Eagles' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Anderson with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Anika Stickney, Marlee Byxbe, Kylee Jaramillo, and Nya Bigelow.

West Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-5-1. As for Anderson, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-1 record this season.

West Valley didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against University Prep on the 16th. Anderson has also already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Lassen on the 16th.
